Save money on Cat and Rabbit litter

To save money on litter, I suggest using pelletized bedding. These are pine pellets used for horse stalls but you can also use them for cats or rabbits. You will have to scoop out the poop still, but the pellets absorb the urine. Eventually, the pellets will turn to “dust” from absorbing the urine; when this occurs, you just dump the box contents and replace. You may want to use your normal litter also (in a separate box) at the same time, in case your pet needs to adjust. I personally have boxes with the pellets and boxes with regular scoop-able litter as my cats still like the feel of the “regular” litter. But my animals use the boxes with the pellets, thus saving me money as it only costs $6 bucks for a 40-pound bag. You can get them from a farm supply store.

You know I tried those before (been awhile) but for me it didn’t work as I have multiple cats and they didn’t really like the sound it made – time to try one again though as I am sure they have improved by now!
