What is POD exactly?
Products, such as t-shirts, mugs, and posters, are only produced after a customer places an order. This is an affordable way to sell custom or niche products without the need for large initial inventory.
POD works like this
In a print on demand setup, when a customer places an order on an online store, the product is then printed and fulfilled by a third-party printing company. The seller or store owner doesn’t keep any physical inventory and only pays for the product printing and shipping costs once a sale is made.
